Culture, History and Archaeology: Ireland Walking Tour
Explore the history and culture of Ireland during this 8 day walking tour. The trip begins hiking through the lush and beautiful trails along the shores of Galway Bay near Doolin. Discover the archeological wonders of the Aran Islands and the fascinating stories of Irish famine, hardship and triumphs from an Irish archaeologist and historian perspective. Trek along the shores of Killary Fjord, ending with a day in the quiet and quaint town of Westport. Bonus: Spend three days with one of Ireland's top field archaeologist and historian, Michael Gibbons.
