Salsa: Percusión En Español
Taught bilingually, this intermediate course focuses on Latin American percussion rhythms and patterns played on congas, bongo, timbales, etc. in the context of salsa and other Latin American styles. The course emphasizes playing collectively. Prerequisite: general knowledge of basic rhythms played. Meets Wednesdays, 6:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
