Carving Kris Kringle
Here’s your chance to carve your own unique Santa under the guidance of a master wood carver. After choosing one of two Santa designs, Erik will lead you through each step. Using the Scandinavian flat-plane carving style, you will study caricature carving and facial details along with painting and finishing techniques. Bring your own carving tools, including a knife, u-gouges and v-tools. Some wood carving experience is recommended in order to get the most out of this workshop.
