Artist statement
Some days we have to let the whole universe use us as a brush for his own purpose! And some days not. Although we have to work with the whole universe to show what lies deep in our hearts, in the end, Beauty is in the eyes of the viewer!
Biography
I'm a French artist who has lived in Wisconsin since 1997. My technique is absolutely unique. By taking photography and engraving directly on the print, I liberate and expose the celluloid colors embedded in the picture. Additionally, I use inks and dyes on each piece, finally sealing it with oil varnish. All of my works are hand-matted. I am the owner of Studio 17, which previously was located in Mineral Point. I'm currently living in Spring Green. My work is available at Convivio in Spring Green, Johnston Brewery Pottery Gallery in Mineral Point, Bindley Collection in Middletown, and in my studio during the Fall Art Tour and by appointment.
