Artist statement
Thank you for your interest in my photography.
I stumbled into the world of photography several years ago when I purchased my first camera. Self-taught, I enjoy the challenge of trying to capture beautiful images. I appreciate the splendor that is unique to Wisconsin and the American Midwest. A right-brain person who has worked many years in a left-brain job, I use photography as an outlet to stoke my creative fires and share with others how I see the world through my eyes.
Biography
Raised on a farm outside of New Glarus, I spent many of my formative years in and around Madison and traveling through the rural parts of the Midwest. I am the owner of DizzyPrism Photography, and I also serve as a contributing photographer to Madison Magazine, Wisconsin Trails, and other newspapers, advertising agencies and regional publications. Currently I live near Belleville, but at any given moment I am often elsewhere making photos.
