A new Wisconsin Historical Museum exhibit, "IcOn Wisconsin" explores the symbols, from outlandish to historical, that help define our state and its people. The exhibit is on display until November 10th, 2002.
Visitors can explore a selection of popular symbols of our state: cheese, beer, bratwurst, deer, and the Green Bay Packers. By investigating these symbols and others, people will discover what they represent and how they have been perpetuated over the years. Take a look at this panoramic tour and see if this is what Wisconsin is really about.
Located on Madison's Capitol Sqaure,
the State Historical Museum offers four floors of permanent and
changing interactive exhibits which dramatically interpret
Wisconsin's past and present. Visit their web site for more
information. The Museum is a part of the Wisconsin Historical Society.
