Drum and Bugle Capitol of the World!
Explore Racine County's history at the Racine Heritage Museum. Racine’s first drum and bugle corps, formed in 1921, created the model that all drum and bugle corps follow today. In recognition of its significant contributions, the US Congress declared Racine to be the Drum and Bugle Corps Capital of the World in 1967. This exhibit highlights various periods of drum corps history and features musical instruments and uniforms used through the years.
