3rd Annual Chalk and Cheese Fest
FESTIVAL DESCRIPTION: The 3rd Annual Chalk & Cheese Fest will include a chalk festival open to artists of all ages and abilities, local food – cheese (and more), and music. Artists will create colorful artwork on the sidewalks and streets in and around City Park. Visitors will be able to watch the art as it unfolds. All will have the opportunity to create their own chalk art, try regional cheeses, and listen to live music.
ALSO Call For Artists: PATH seeks 4-6 artists for Chalk & Cheese Fest 2022 on August 27, 2022 in City Park in Platteville, Wisconsin. Commissioned, professional chalk artists will create larger works and receive an honorarium of $300.

Event Times: 7 am: setup-registration table, signage, Kid’s Zone Free draw chalk area,
8 am: professional and community artists arrive, onsite registration for community artists opens
8 am-1 pm: community artists continuing registration, ongoing chalk art creation
10 am-1 pm: Platteville Book Bike onsite
11am-1 pm: Lunch vendors onsite
Noon: Activity/Demo 1
1 pm: Activity/Demo 2
2 pm: Activity/Demo 3
3-5 pm: Onsite cheese tasting
4-5 pm: People’s Chose Voting
4-6 pm Dinner vendors onsite
4-7 pm: Live Music
5:30 pm: People’s Choice Winners announced, and awards presented
Ticket Information: Event is Free to attend. If you are interested in participating in the Chalk Art Competition there will be a fee based on age group. Scholarships are available.
