Heritage Walking Tours
Heritage Walking Tour is a 1.1 mile, 1.5-2 hour walking tour in downtown Racine & the lakefront covering several periods of Wisconsin's abolitionist, industrial, architectural, and immigrant history. Tickets are $15 per person, purchased at least one day in advance. Tours, Saturdays at 10:30 am, start at the Museum. Benches along route but no restrooms.

Description:The Racine Heritage Museum's mission is to address and integrate the past and present cultural, industrial and agricultural heritages of our area through preservation, documentation and interpretation. One museum highlight that shouldn't be missed is an award winning exhibit entitled "Boat
Manufacturing in Racine," winner of a Certificate of Commendation in 1995 from the American Association for State & Local History. The exhibit chronicles the history of boat making in Racine County.
Operating hours are Tuesday through Friday 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Saturday & Sunday 1:00-5:00 p.m. Free admission. Donations welcome.
