Wright Before the "Lloyd": Frank Lloyd Wright's Search for Himself
The exhibit covers Wright’s early life from his childhood in Wisconsin and apprenticeship with architects Adler & Sullivan to his early career on his own. Highlights include architectural elements such as terra cotta treatments, screen, brickwork and hardware salvaged from a number of Wright- (and Sullivan-) designed buildings.

Description:The Racine Heritage Museum's mission is to address and integrate the past and present cultural, industrial and agricultural heritages of our area through preservation, documentation and interpretation. One museum highlight that shouldn't be missed is an award winning exhibit entitled "Boat
Manufacturing in Racine," winner of a Certificate of Commendation in 1995 from the American Association for State & Local History. The exhibit chronicles the history of boat making in Racine County.
Operating hours are Tuesday through Friday 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Saturday & Sunday 1:00-5:00 p.m. Free admission. Donations welcome.
