Madison Brass Band’s European Vacation Fall Concert
The Madison Brass Band takes you on a sonic vacation abroad following the stunning performance of our U.S. athletes in the Paris Summer Olympics. We’ll feature the “Olympic Fanfare” by John Williams, George Gershwin’s “An American in Paris,” exciting cutting edge new brass band works from England and France, Edward Elgar’s gorgeous “Nimrod,” and concluding with Resphigi’s “Pines of Rome.” Principal solo cornetist Matt Sundell will be featured on the festive Napoli. Hop across the pond with us for a musical European Vacation!
Admission donations of $10-$20 at the door ensure accessibility for all. Join us on November 3rd, 2023, at the First United Methodist Church, 203 Wisconsin Avenue, Madison, for an unforgettable concert by the Madison Brass Band.
