Artist statement
everyday observations break with banality in the covert canvas called the imagination. it is within this holding environment of the mind where creativity is meditation; is prayer; is a free form amidst an over-abundance of structure. this is where stories unfold in color and in shapes, and where light and form wax poetic for hours on end. this is where my spirit nourishes itself and where outward expression becomes the vehicle for the soul’s journey.

here, in this place, in my way of seeing, is a way of being. it is my search for meaning, for peace, for genuine love. this is what i feel. this is what i see. this is where i am: painting, creating, imagining, being.
