Artist statement
I have been painting for over 40 years, first in oil and acrylic and now primarily in watercolor. I'm self-taught but after retiring, I've taken classes and workshops from Mike E. Bailey, Bridget Austin, Linda Baker, Connie Glowacki, Peggy Ferlin and Mary Ann Inman.
I was born in Cleveland Ohio. I came to the University of Wisconsin in 1965 and have lived in Madison ever since. I am now a retired teacher, mother of two wonderful daughters, very proud grandma of six and enjoying my jump into the art world.
