Artist statement
My professional experience was in the financial field. My love of photography grew after I retired. The two fields, at a glance appear to be quite far apart, but there is a need for close observation in both. As they say, the story is in the details. One of the key talents of a photographer is the ability to see the unusual in the mundane. Observing beauty in the details. I have taken wonderful pictures in our backyard. It is not necessary to travel thousands of miles to find a great picture. Just be observant.
Biography
My photos have been displayed at The Center for Visual Arts in Wausau and at the Arts Bash in Stevens Point. The Center for Visual Arts was part of a juried show. In addition, I co-teach a digital photography class for children at the CVA.
