Artist statement
Though I work predominantly as a book illustrator, my personal work is difficult to categorize. I don't work in one medium all the time, and my subject matter is usually diverse. The only factors in common and important to each piece are the line quality, the assymetrical balance of the composition, and an attempt to explore a different idea with each piece.
Biography
Born in Ashland, Massachusetts. Attended the Art Institute of Boston, 1996-2000, majored in illustration. Completed assignments for Random House, Yearling, Bantam Doubleday Dell, and New Balance Athletic Shoes.
