Artist statement
As an Artist & Instructor I use art as a powerful medium to encourage people to live boldly and awaken a creative being that lives inside of all of us. I want to create a safe creative space for Artists to immerse themselves in the liberating & healing feeling that comes with Art. By sharing my story I want to liberate others who are considering a creative career to free themselves, create boldly, and nurture their creative being.
Art is truly a gift that I’ve been given and it’s my calling to give it away.
Biography
Art is my way of sharing ideas through storytelling and building relationships. Art is a powerful tool that is vital to life and a vessel that I use to develop connections/community. As a former Corporate Executive I understand the challenges of going from a structured 9-5 job to being a creative entrepreneur. I’ve immersed myself in the healing powers of art as a way to be liberated from a world of structure into a fluid, free, and creative life.
