Artist statement
Rooted in ancient Roman and Greek forms, my work strives for geometric balance, function and expressive color combinations.
Biography
Paul C. Mueller is an emerging hot glass artist working in traditional Italian methods of hot glass blowing including cane, murini, mold blown and applied techniques.
Mueller has been a student of Jeremy Popelka of Popelka/Trenchard Glass in Sturgeon Bay, Wis., for four years.
In 2003, the Association of Fund Raising Professionals commissioned Mueller to create six identical blown glass awards for the Partners in Philanthropy event.
