Artist statement
Born and raised in Wisconsin, I have a deep appreciation of this green, beautiful state. My love of nature comes from my parents who took me on many walks in the woods as a child. My father, who also enjoyed nature photography, helped me to develop my eye.

My photos of Wisconsin have been exhibited at art shows in Wisconsin and Illinois since 1988. Photography has also helped me to pursue a career as a graphic designer. Composition, positive and negative space, color and light play roles in each field.

I studied photography and art at the Univeristy of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, one of the most beautiful campuses in the state. Since then, I continue to study and to develop my abilities in graphic design, regular and digital photography.

My photos are mounted on archival boards and are created to last a long time in your home or office.
