Artist statement
My photography attempts to capture the natural light and beauty of landscapes or seascapes. I'm also interested in abstracting the scene by shooting details with a telephoto lens. I want to create an impressionistic photo with my camera. I also like to shoot old cars/barns/rural scenes/animals and anything lit by the early morning or late evening sun.
Biography
I have a bachelor of fine art in graphic design working in the field as a professional graphic designer for 9 years. I now have a freelance graphic design, photography, fine art and mosaics. I also keep my Wisconsin Brokers license current. During the summer season, I manage a home decor shop in Door County-Ephraim, Wis., which I co-created with the owner.
