Artist statement
This body of work is from a series I have on the Northern Italian Lake District. I chose this area because of the way the water meets the Alps, and for the beautiful gardens that surround the the area. While most images are without people in the view, the human element is always present in the landscape, and with this body of work as well as future bodies, I wish to explore that interaction between the natural environment and the human constructed environment.
