Artist statement
Not this time, you won't have to ruffle your feathers because my work contains reminders of sticky political issues. Even an activist needs to take a day off and just enjoy our common thread. In this case, it is the wonderful landscapes of southwest Wisconsin. For the last two decades, I have been painting and drawing landscapes from this part of Wisconsin. The works are on-site painted vistas of my shared visual surroundings.
