Frank Lloyd Wright was committed to designing a house that reflected a uniquely American way of life. UW-Madison Professor Virginia Boyd identifies several ways he translated his abstract ideas about an appropriate American house form into actual design. Her presentation is a part of of the Wisconsin Historical Society's History Sandwiched In lecture series, and it was filmed by Wisconsin Public Television.
